I think I'm gonna have to split up my top ten fave color and B&W images. I suppose I'll start with the color ones first. This was the year of the portrait for me although I did snatch a few landscape shots here and there with the trusty 15.

I'll be back later with the B&W stuff. I hope everyone else keeps posting. Some really lovely images in this thread!

A lot of these posts should be double liked, it's coming out to .2 likes per fantastic image... just getting one like isn't fair.

I've always liked that frog shot. The first shot of the old man on the boat is great too.

And I agree with Norm!

Here's the B&W shots:

Some great shots there! Even got some action photography. Who knew you could do that with a Pentax camera? .
Thanks! Maybe I need to read the manual to understand the limits of Pentax gear

Wow, nice shots everyone! So much goodness in this thread. I don't know if these are my top 10 but it's 10 that I felt good about.
I guess I've got a thing for the moon.

Impressive collection already!

Here are 10 I like a lot - the best? I don't know.
In chronological order.

Michael
Some great shots. Really like the next to last one.

There are some astonishingly good photos in this thread. I always enjoy looking at everyone's annual selections. For myself, most of my "for fun" photography was done in spring, fall, and winter. Can't say there's anything "best" about them, but they're the ones I like most from this year's work. Here they are in the order they were shot:

Sub-Zero Morning Along the River [DA 18-55 at 55mm, f8, 1/180s]

New Life Cut Short by Rainstorm [SMC Pentax M-50/1.7, f/8, 1/125s]

Getting Cirrus [Sigma 10-20mm/ at 10mm f/8]

Storm in the Offing [DA-18-50 at 18mm, f8, 1/1000s]

Golden Maple Sunstar [DA 18-50 at 18mm, f/22, 1/45s]

Leaves in Backwater [M-50/1.7, f8, 1/60s]

Osprey Tree [M-50/1.7, f8, 1/20s]

Reflecting on Wavy Ledge Drop [SMC M-28/2.8 f8 1/45s]

Peak Color [M-28, f/8, 1/125s] (Not sure about this one. First attempt trying out Lightroom. Not an HDR but it looks like it is.)

Snowstorm [DA 55-300 at 55mm, f/16, 1/20s]
LIke them a lot. Leaves in Backwater is the standout to me.

Both your entries are great, Chris. Hardly know how to pick one out of the lot -- beautiful ladies and great use of light!

Some great shots, Matt! You sure know where to go to capture the amazing vistas around you. The moon shots are pretty special.

I'm not sure I could pick only Pentax pics as my ten best - I use far too many systems to expect Pentax to take all ten spots. My favorite pic of 2015 is a rather intimate, relatively pornographic, picture I snapped of my wife, but it was taken with my new favorite camera the K-S1, and my new favorite lens the Pentax 18-250mm. Not going to appear here.

Here are a few I liked from 2015:

I continue to be inspired and educated by the PF community.
This was not the best photo year for me. Though I did acquire some nice lenses, I seemed to have less time to take pictures. It was a struggle to even find ten that I thought were really good.
