A few from today....

I took the Sigma 70 macro out, usually a fine lens, today it was brutal. Maybe I'll try it again tomorrow without the TC.

One of the three species of Lycopodium that thrives locally. They remain green through the winter, although sometimes hidden below the snow. Still, they seem to perk up come Spring.

A trail we walk adjacent to the old State School must have been set up for special purposes. There are picnic benches long unused and this BBQ stove that has not held a fire lit for many decades.

Both taken with my old and trusty Olympus TG-4 on a perfectly still day.
Both worth looking at full size.

Thank you very much, up until earlier this week it had been sitting on a hard drive for a couple of years unappreciated, found it by accident while looking for something else.

Geraniums along an old stone wall/fence at the start of a woods road that is one of our daily walk options. Prodigious quantities of stone were moved to construct the ubiquitous stone walls/fences of New England. A survey in woods to the northeast of our location documented a volume of stone in the fences that exceeded what is in the Great Pyramid (!).
