Here I am, with my sling, coat that won't close, ZS100, walking stick for stability and thrower stick for tennis balls. Ready for a walk. My first one since shoulder surgery a week ago.

Pentax XG-1

I discovered 10 seconds isn't enough time to call the dogs over, even with treats. Tia, came and got hers, the other are waiting for me to bring it to them.

ZS100

Lichen and pine scales/bracts discarded by a red squirrel. A too-deep crop from a very small (=P&S) sensor has given this image a graphic look.

Great to see you back posting and even out walking and taking pictures so soon! Hope for your quick and complete recovery and that you can go out with your K1 eventually. But take it easy in the mean time

Great shot Paul! I try and try to get shots of old wood like that and have never gotten anything worthwhile. Thanks for confirming it can be done. I'll keep at it.

Thanks Dave - good to see you! Yeah, if I can successfully shoot an old log, anyone can.

Some fungi from a while ago. At this time of year, unless there's one of those snow falls that lingers on every branch. the local woodlands are not especially photogenic either in general or in little details.
