Walt, I was looking hard for the fungus...

until I noticed the overhang on the right side and realised that I wasn't looking for fungus on an old stump!!

I guess it proves that the object of your image was what I was focusing on; I didn't notice the sloping truck, etc.
or your title for that matter either.

Nice colors and textures in that image.


The image below is a SCAN taken I cannot remember where, but definitely out in the woods. The fungus appears to be growing on a fallen birch which would limit the identification.
