There is still color in the local woods despite several vigorous downpours that usually knock down almost all of the leaves.

This one is with my new used 21mm Ltd. I am learning how to use a prime and not shoot as if it is a zoom, ie frame the shots for the FL, not choosing the FL for the shots. Does that make sense?

Sometimes..... you can get an image you might not have noticed, but you can miss an image you might have captured with a zoom. It works both ways, more often you miss an image. But when learning a new lens, you need a week or so of just shooting with the new lens.

That sounds good. At first I was trying to get close up shots like I could get with my 18-135 or 55-300, but that wasn’t working out. I have been trying to step back and see a wider image to photograph. I agree that I will miss some shots if I have a prime opposed to a zoom. I have left the 21mm on my KP for about a week, but I have been working so I can’t shoot every day. I will probably use the 21 for the rest of the month to continue learning,
