K-3 and Sigma 8-16

I went really wide today usually 8mm to give more of the context of where we walk.

The back yard in front to the path into the forest. Cora.

I cut this path from the back yard logging road to the Old School Road.

The Old School Road. In the 30s and 40s the village school was up there.

From the Abbie Path (Abbie cleared the path (not shown) to drive his bulldozer from his house to his gravel pit) to the Puppy loop. (Also we usually call it Abbie Road, but hey, to avoid confusion.)This part of the path you have to know which rocks and roots to step on.

The Puppy Loop. It's an old log skidder road incorporated into our walks so we'd have a 2 km loop that would tire puppy Chase without being too much for a growing puppy.

The Dolittle path. Dolittle moved out 5 years ago. We have no idea who the new owners are. Dolittle used this as an ATV trail, the new owners have abandoned it.

It's all crown land, and anyone can use our trails, if they know where they are. (But you don't know where they are do you?)

2 kms, approximately a 30 minute walk.

The morning dog walk.
K-3 and DA 21 ltd. -Crossposted, your Pet a day, K-3 images, Forest Walks.

The start of the walk is always the path by the guest cabin.

Down in the Sap Sucker woods.

The old school road, a skidoo had been through making the trail a little wider.

At least 8 trees fell across the path in the last few days. Another trip around with the chain saw will be required, the fourth this year, we usually do it once. These on the Puppy Path.

Beech Tree Corners

Back in the yard.

What starts at the cabin ends at the cabin.

I hope you enjoyed our walk....

Thanks for commenting. When you do the walk every day you have to do things to make it interesting. Today was "Why don't I take the 21 ltd." day. 20 plus lenses gives you lots of different ways to take images on the walk.
