I did go on a forest walk....

Trail through ferns.

But most are taken in the yard, or very near the yard.

Very nice, Norm. I see you have dewberry blooms (#4 and #5) up your way as well. The ones we had in Texas had already come and gone by mid-April.

Color version of a previously posted mono image (from April):

Thanks for that I.D. Paul... there are so many blossoms up here that look like it, and I hadn't made an effort to look it up.

Spring comes a little sooner down there. I nnce counselled a student, a good tennis player to go to North Texas university on scholarship as opposed to the Akron Ohio, where she also had an offer, based on or outdoor tennis practice time. She stopped in on a visit home to tell me how much she enjoyed her decision. I wonder if she ever moved back home or stayed there after she graduated.

I don't' know North Texas, but I know Akron, Ohio.

A trail we haven't used since last year, and a couple of mushrooms.

A patch of tiger lilies. These cheerful flowers are just everywhere at the moment - doing better than dandelions.

Last images, probably, of partridgeberry in bloom as they seem to have gone by since I took these pictures about two weeks back.
