I have three 50's all f2, one A and two Ms.. but if I decide to do this month with 50, I'll throw a couple of diopters on the front of the lens. It's bug season here.

Great lens for a month long challenge. I was super close to picking it... it's one of my favourites.

I'm having some serious second thoughts here. I have been enjoying my FA 43 so much last month, that I want to continue with it or with FA 77...but maybe DA*55 will be great too or Helios 44-2...now that I'll be having K-1 in few weeks time. Let us see.

I have a used Pentax-A 50mm F1.7, but my local has several used 50mm, one that goes to f1.4, decisions, decisions.

Maybe we soon-to-be K-1 owners could talk amongst ourselves, and pick out a variety of lenses to showcase some different looks from the new beast... ?

Is it still ok to use a Pentax lens adapted to another brand's camera? As I can use all my Takumar lenses just not on a digital Pentax camera currently. If so Id be down to using my Super Takumar 55mm f1.8

I think some debate this point - BUT I think it is. I posted a 100 macro coin shot earlier made with the Panasonic GX7.

Yes. If the lens is Pentax, then the camera is permitted to be non-Pentax/Ricoh:

I'm still holding to my earlier plan of 8-element Super-Tak 50/1.4 on my Spotmatic II. I just need to buy some film that isn't E-6 before the 1st...

Yes, I suppose we are . Okay, the calling is too strong. Sorry to buck the 50's trend, guys, but I'm going with the FA 31mm Ltd. Final answer.

No debate at all. The guidelines are quite clear. Go for it

Awesome! That is the lens I'm most keen to get onto the K-1; it will no doubt feature heavily in my Daily In challenge.

Well, the order is in and my K-1 will be shipped as soon as it's available. Since it will be a Father's Day gift I won't actually get my hands on it for a few weeks but it's in the pipeline. I also went for the D FA 28-105 which will arrive on Thursday.
