Wineglass Bay. Partially named because of its shape, but also they used to row out in small boats to kill migrating whales which were brought into the bay for slaughter. The water could get purplish-red from the blood, looking a bit like wine.

It is a nice park, one I used to enjoy visiting when I lived in DFW. It probably wasn't a hot day - the photo was taken almost exactly 4 yrs ago on Nov. 20, 2015
