Beautiful landscape of country living. A little patch of farm/garden area adds a million dollars to this fine photograph. Are you now using Takumar lenses exclusively?

Thanks for sharing, Paul. Nice work.

Thanks Tony! For this shot I used an A-series 35mm/2.8 (a very fine lens!) on one of my *ist D bodies. I have another *ist D with an m42 adapter so it's a full-time Takumar body. I also have a K10D and a K-5 I'll use with all kinds of lenses. So, I do love my Taks, but don't use them exclusively.

Thanks Walt! This is Turner Falls, located in south-central Oklahoma, in the Arbuckle Mtns. Taken in 2007:

Turner Falls with my niece Hanna posing. She will graduate high school next year (her photo is also my avatar).

Good capture, and your niece looks like a little doll, but I must confess to having a soft spot for little kids who are still full of wonder for life and the world.

FYI: There's town nearby in MessyChewBits called Turner's Falls. There's a drop in the Connecticut River there, more rapids than falls, but also a dam that may have eliminated the steepest original stretch.

Thanks Walt - yes, it seems to be a rare thing these days, although I occasionally have to drag her away from her phone!

At the botanical gardens at the end of May...

And in our own foolhardy youth, what frivolous activity or thing were we dragged from by our concerned parents? So many people worked to show me the proper way to spend my time, so many failed.
