Sad but true - Jeannie will be 12 in November, and she's slowed down a step or two. To be fair, it was very warm the evening of that photo, and she doesn't do well in the heat.

Tralee, with her long, thick hair, also feels the heat and will be a laggy on a walk. The real sign she's feeling overheated - when we come upon a sandy spot, she'll scrape off the surface layer with a fore paw, then roll on the cooler, moister soil that she's exposed. It's sort of cute, until we have to get the sand out her ruff.
