This is a bridge in a little town west of Ottawa. Not quite happy about processing... Need to return to it. Any suggestions?

A somewhat epic shot of Jeannie at a creek overlook in late October. Things aren't as green recently, though.

I really like the bridge and the reflection of the leaves in the water. I would emphasize those elements, because my eye is already drawn to the bright trees, and I need to cross the bridge to get there .

Working with curves, or brightness/contrast, I would darken the areas (just a global adjustment) on the shadow side of the bridge, and see if that is more of what you want.

Right now, your image has a "dreamyness" about it that is quite nice as well.

I can do a quick curve adjustment as an example if you don't mind.

Depends what you want to achieve - perhaps adjust white balance, lift the shadows, apply contrast and clarity (local contrast), e.g -

Just a quick change to the contrast using the curves in Affinity photo. But that's just how I would do it. Maybe post in the Photo Critique thread, for suggestions from a lot more experienced people.

I estimate there's +1 ways of processing .

Three versions of a canyon or chasm in Iceland on a gloomy day. This spot was very challenging to photograph.

Heavy overcast days is Natures Bounce Flash equivalent Contrast goes down Detail goes up . I like the affect and in misty or light rain in the distance it gives the affect of a fog filter. Great Shots !

This little park is right on my way to work & I drive past it every day. We've had a lot of overcast but warm days, but the sun came out a couple days ago and I stopped by with the Canon
