Early morning in Bon Echo provincial park

It's interesting how Flickr changes the photo: on my screen the water between the rocks and the cliffs is a lot more peachy in colour than what Flickr has and shadows are brighter. It's like Flickr adds contrast

Nice shot Igor. It makes me eager for the upcoming camping season. I have driving by Bon Echo (even snowmobiled the lake) but never camped there. Maybe one day. I have my reservation all set the Achray on the May long weekend....bring on the trout...and the bugs of course.

Bon Echo is a special place, I'd like to go back there for sure. I took the kids there two years ago and when we got there we discovered that our mattress is covered by mold... Sleeping in the back of the van with two kids is an experience that's hard to forget.

Granville Harbour, western Tasmania. Apparently the calm seas and light winds are far from typical conditions! K-3 + DA 12-24 (X-posted from the beach rocks thread.)

What passes for scenery locally. Actually there are some fine vistas that I have not taken a camera to for many decades. Must re-visit them this year.
