Great idea Paul. Well done for starting this thread.
From late 2010 - K200D and DA*16-50. It's from the house where one of my nephews was getting married. Byron Bay hinterland.
Six months ago, 10 days after we moved into our new house - K-5 and DA*16-50. This is the view from our home office (through a window). I've cropped the bottom of the shot to get rid of the roof over the main living area of the house. This is what my mind sees when I look out of the window. It's a lot better than the view of the neighbour's roof that I got in Melbourne.
The triangular hill in the middle is Yacaaba Head. It's connected to the rest of Australia by a low-lying spit of land. On the other side of the entrance to Port Stephens is Tomaree Head. There are a few more pointy bits heading south (we're looking about 10 to 15 degrees north of east). You can just see Broughton Island to the left of Yacaaba Head. That's the Pacific Ocean out there.
Hmm. I think I might be a bit tilted.
Regards,
Richard.
