These were taken with my first digital camera (a Canon Powershot G3 P&S -- the only non-Pentax camera I've ever owned) on a business trip in Hawaii in 2005. The first shows the clouds over northern Oahu taken from the top of Diamondhead. The second is the rainbow appearing every day in the summer, following the morning rain showers. Almost close enough to find the proverbial pot of gold with this one!

We just got through our 4th nor-easter in the last 3 weeks. Another 9 inches or so of snow. Here are a couple of pictures from the event. The first shows what things looked like as it began to wind down, with heavy wet snow blanketing everything. The second picture shows what things looked like 4 hours later, with snow already melting because the temperature went up to 42F. I think I'm getting whiplash!

SMC-K 35mm f3.5 at 5.6, from the passenger side of my car while my daughter is practicing driving.
Taking pictures helps calm my nerves when she's got the wheel.
