This Thematic thread was a great idea, Steve! Even though I only recently got back to view it, I went through all 37 pages. We usually have 'less weather' here. Clouds here are most times higher up and more homogeneous (read: dab gray) than closer to the sea, especially in winter, which adds all the more excitement when there's a lot of structure or contrast in the sky. I'm amazed e.g. by Noel's (noelcm's) or Tom's (
ramseybuckeye's) dramatic clouds, but also by some of Cosmin's (
Hattifnatt's) great compositions of foreground and clouds.
