Yup, I find that it usually takes my a good hour or so to get my eye and mind seeing from a cameras perspective. I think that is why I prefer being a lone wolf when I go out on a photo wander; I don't feel the stress of holding up other peolpe with be so my mind is free to wander too.

Never thought of this as I've always been alone when shooting... Never gone on a "shooting group"... But even worse I think is when you're with friends/family who just don't get the hobby and get irritated - "go ahead, I'll catch up with you guys later" I find myself saying this way too much, haha.
