A thunderstorm rolled through here last night. I set up and patiently tried to get some pictures of lightning.

But.

The clouds were so low that the lightning was mostly in the clouds, and only lit the clouds up. Keep in mind it was after 9pm, and quite dark. The shadows of my house from the light on the shop can be seen across the yard, and lightning had illuminated the scene.

I feel like I got robbed.

I did get one shot of the lightning, and it looks like it hit a tree on the neighbor's property.

Clouds and not clouds combine. View of a large steelworks from across the bay. There used to be two large towers, akin to the nuclear plant in The Simpsons. I recall when they were demolished during my childhood.
