Seeing taks' post reminded me I need to post more often,

From June 30, one of the nicest days we've had this year,

I liked how the cloud is mimicking Mt. Rainier

This is the same cloud as the first shot, the lenticulars were pulled way off the mountain, I don't think I've ever seen them this far off the top of the mountain before. The winds aloft must have been really ripping.

A couple weeks back:

Some more nice clouds on the way home:

We had a USCG escort on the way west, and they broke off to join the east bound boat back to Seattle.

So many different kinds of clouds in one sky

Clouds building over Wisconsin east of me. I think they got a lot more rain out of these clouds then I did.

Full "buck" moon through the clouds, with a few stars peeking through. (K-3III and HD DA 55-300mm PLM @ 300m, handheld, ISO 12800, 1/320 sec, ƒ6.3)
