The Naughton 'home made' tractor:

From the museum card: - "The tractor was built by Joe Naughton in 1976 at Yorkrakine (WA). The custom made parts Joe made for the tractor included the main and sub-frames, drop box and cab etc. The tractor is powered by a 220 hp Leyland engine mated to a 10 speed Leyland gearbox.
The drop-box was made using helical cut gears running on shafts fitted with Timken taper roller bearings. This box gave trouble free running for the 14 years of the tractor's working life. The Clark planetary differentials fitted to the machine wore out eventually."

"Crop's Revenge" - This Farmall tractor is on the site where the original Farmall tractor was first developed in 1923 by International Harvester - at Harvester Park, in Burr Ridge, IL, next to the former International Harvester research facility. The facility is now CNH Industrial, the successor to Case International Harvester.
1/60s at F8, SMC Pentax-FA 28-90/F3.5-5.6 at 30mm, A priority, autofocus, hazy sun, backlit. 9/14/16. Pentax ZX-5n, Tri-X, HC-110, dilution E.
