Ah, this brings back memories, although the one I rode around as a youth was an AC. Still going strong after several generations, although the seat's been replaced once or twice. Sadly, I don't seem to have any pictures of it. Thanks for sharing!

I see there is still some paint showing. It'll buff out.

On the topic of tractor tires never going flat, here are a couple of images from my grandfathers archives. A comment on another site where I have posted these images helped me to identify the tractor as an International Harvester Titan 10-20 circa 1915-1922, which is in sync with the picture of the tractor sitting beside a Model T in front of the homestead house.

And since I don't have my own photo to share, and as I'm not sure it would be appropriate to post Facebook or Twitter links here, I'm just going to suggest that tractor fans following this thread may want to do an internet search for the words Reynolds Museum and John Deere 8400T. An interesting piece of John Deere tractor history is now on display at the museum.

Great stuff, I really like the vintage photos. Offhand I don't see an issue with facebook or other social media links that relate to the subject at hand. But I will defer to Adam in cast there are any general rules that I am not aware of...

On the main road through Wickepin in Western Australia's wheat belt is a graveyard for dozens of tractors. There is a tall chain link fence around the property and most of the vehicles seem to be collapsing into rust piles:

Located at the tip of Cape York, the town we live in gets periodic visits by various clubs and organisations for cruise or endurance events. In 2006 the Chamberlain tractor club of western Australia paid the region a visit. The local agricultural 'show' was on so they did a drive past in the events. These vehicles had done a huge mileage to be here hence the body work and the ear protectors. Read more on their website.
