Woody Point before sunrise

This image was taken at the same time from the same location as the first image I posted in this thread. The differences being Landscape orientation, shutter speed and the time it was captured. I like the colours in both images this one for the more saturated colours, especially those in the water. I need to print them both and see what they look like mounted on a wall.

Great thread! I only just came across it. I like to shoot wide but it's not always the right tool for the job and tele landscapes can be a lot of fun!

Being one of those tiresome sorts who, every time we get the "help-me-choose-a wide-angle-lens-so-I-can-shoot-landscapes" FAQ again, feels compelled to reply with a corrective, I could add a long list of images to this thread. I'll stick to a few where perspective compression is an important aspect.

You've got that thin air. Even on the driest days i have more atmosphere than that at that distance.
