"Go, Gull, Go!"

The cross-posted image was captured with my RMC Tokina 500 mm mirror lens on my Pentax K-S2 at 1000 ISO and 1/1000.

Here is one I took in 1961 with a very basic viewfinder camera, shot from the hip as it flew by.

Gull caught with a simple Retinette, on the fly, being chased by it's shadow
Rushcutter's Bay Sydney 1961. Without a telephoto, a crop was needed here. I doubt I would have had the highest speed of 1/250 set so one can still see movement in the wing tips
