Originally posted by photolady95 I have a question. When you first opened this thread and stated what you wanted, my assumption was on birds found standing on dry land with wings spread. Most of these in here show birds in flight and we already have a thematic for
BIF.
Plus there is two for insects and one for Moth&Butterflies.
So my question is, did you want birds in flight or just birds with wings stretched out and standing still?
I understand the confusion
My initial thought was, as you stated, birds with wings stretched out, on the ground or in trees etc (I was not aware of the "BIF" thread at the time)
I added the bumble bee photo as a kind of a joke and mentioned I was willing to drop it if there were objections - I am not aware of any
I also posted birds in flight photos
So when the butterfly showed up I didn't think I could object
on the one hand the initial thought of wings outstretched does seem limited tho, I know that I have more photos of birds flying than stretching
But the ones with with wings outstretched seem so --- majestic
But with the BIF thread ongoing, posting birds flying here is a duplication isn't it
I, for one, don't intend on posting any more non bird pictures (unless I can get a good bat picture that is)
Why do I get to decide? Do I get to decide?
If I really had to choose - wings outstretched in trees, on ground, landing ready to take off etc
Please regular posters chime in
