I'm in for Oct. May be using the Takumar smc macro 50mm, f/4.0 a lot as it does fabulous close ups and as the days shorten, outside shooting will be a challenge on workdays; so indoor close ups reign!

You might be better off by not posting them then.

I suspect you're right. I have to dust off my close-up stuff; the 100 macro, the raynox, and the extension rings. Reminds me, I need some more reversal rings as well.

I miss summer already

Me too!

But it sounds like some great equipment to dust off!

Help me out here; what's with all the "Single In" threads mixed in with the Dailies? Specifically, jbarry started one for the 2nd, but it had the same images as a thread over in the Single In section so I just ignored it and started a correctly titled thread. Was I bad?

There are several others in the list, which makes going back through the threads rather confusing....

Some people have double posted the same image in both sets of threads is that what you mean? Otherwise it might just be that both roll up in the same section of the web forum. I unsubscribed from single in group to make it easier for me when doing one but not the other.

It does appear that the threads were mislabelled as "Single In" but are really for "Daily In" jbarry posted some pictures of green weeds, that might have cause his temporal displacement issues

I just picked up a copy of this lens last week, and so far two of my three entries were shot with it. Cracking little macro lens!
