Pentax Kx with an older Pentax 100m Macro. Just purchased a K-3 ii so I'm excited to start using that one.

It's November in Alabama and I've just recently seen my 5th honey bee of the year. It was traveling alone. I worry for the honey bees.

I really like the ability to take photos with this lens and then " reach " inside the result and still be sharp

certainly not a macro but ---

gives you confidence in how versatile you can be with it

K-1 and DFA 100 Macro WR, a favorite walk around set up.

A trio.

I guess we can share.

First or the year, I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy doing these, this insect was tiny about the size of an ant

Riggomatic, that first photo is spectacular! Spring time has arrived in Alabama. The honeysuckles have bloomed (and the gardenias are soon to follow). I'm happy to see a few bees this early in the year. I am hoping to see more honey bees this year....!

Thank you very much! I like the detail you captured in your second picture with the little catch light in its eye.
Was that with the Tamron 90?

Yes, it was with my tam 90. I've thought about picking up a copy of the DFA 100 macro, but I have no good reason to abandon my tam 90. She may not be quite as good as the DFA, but the tam has been extremely reliable and a joy to use.
