The common Bombus impatiens on Leadplant. Such a fantastic pollinator plant, and an indicator of quality land.
I think this is Bombus rufocinctus, but I could well be wrong. Also on leadplant.
A few on Purple Prairie Clover, another fantastic legume. The bumbles curl around these flower heads, it's sometimes tough to get a good image of their face.

The beautiful Golden Digger Wasp, Sphex ichneumoneus. These big girls subdue and provision nests with insects like Katydids. That'll make a new generation of wasps!
