I looked around, but could not figure it out. Maybe some foreign plant in somebody's garden. And, yes, the picture is from Germany, north of the mountains, so we do share most of flora and fauna - and the drought.

On Noel's unnamed post - hope you're watching, nothing to quote in there: One of the most captivating ones among the may good ones I've seen from you, the bee seems to float over the bed of flowers, stunning colors.

Here's a pollinator-in-action picture, which technically isn't even a good shot, but which I also like for its color/saturation contrast. A fairly small (~6mm) and apparently old bee.
