We share the same pollinators and flowers too, I suppose. I wonder which species is that generous with its pollen - I have seen rose chafers covered in hawthorn pollen like that in spring, but this is a late summer photo...
I looked around, but could not figure it out. Maybe some foreign plant in somebody's garden. And, yes, the picture is from Germany, north of the mountains, so we do share most of flora and fauna - and the drought.

Here's a pollinator-in-action picture, which technically isn't even a good shot, but which I also like for its color/saturation contrast. A fairly small (~6mm) and apparently old bee.
