I'm amazed at just how resilient butterflies are. They get so beaten up through their adult lives, and are eaten by almost everything as larvae.

A honey bee packing up to move on - flipping back her tongue under the head and brushing off/mostening/stowing pollen.



One of my first 'real' sessions with the LAOWA 100mm 2x macro (here at 1:1). After a while, you feel that it's a lot heavier than the DFA100WR, but I like how it renders.
