I think I'm done for the month. Thanksgiving kind of derailed me, and I know enough about the lens now to know I seriously underestimated it. I'll have to get another hood for it - the old one dry rotted away, being a cheap Chinese rubber thing - and remember to watch the light like a hawk with it.

Its definitely no longer destined for the trash or dismantling as I'd been considering. I'll do a proper write up later on it.

Thanks you! It's an ego boost to be randomly selected ; ) , but I really like backtracking the faves and checking out the works of those photographers, I've found a lot of great artists and amateurs from all over the world this way. I noticed that locals often present scenes from their respective countries that I've never seen in NatGeo or other magazines, very enlightening.
