Very close to clipping, but not quite there (I checked the color histogram in the camera).

No issues with red in this image with the DFA 28-105, looking up the Old Baldly Trail in Petoskey SP:

Many thanks Hans. These Eucalyptus regnans trees are relatively young - regrowth after the 1939 fires - but still upwards of 70m. They can grow to more than 90m. The biggest of them, up to 600 years old, were cut down in the 19th century, but were measured as the tallest trees in the world at the time - one was measured at 143m and another at 133m (with the crown broken off) (Brian Walters in Melbourne: Tall trees).

That is an amazing size for a tree. Reminds me of the redwood giants in America.
