No, not hemisphere related. The water reflects the colour of the sky.

The image I just posted is from Chesterman Beach, and I've posted an image to this thread previously that I shot on Long Beach in a different season.

Something a bit different. This is part of a worm casing made up of hundreds of tiny shells cemented together, found on Sanibel beach in Florida. Here in Toronto it's just getting mild enough outside for me to venture out to the back deck for a few minutes and try out a few macro shots.

I always love to see great bird shots. I probably have more bird beach pics than any other kind but I usually post them elsewhere, otherwise it could get a bit overwhelming.

Squeaky Beach, Wilson's Promontory National Park, Victoria. All with K-S2; birds with DA 55-300 PLM; other shots with DA 18-135.

Hooded Plover (a charming species which nests on the beach, and is rather endangered in Victoria)
