The limpet had clamped down hard on the starfish's 'arm' - I guess it didn't fancy being the star's dinner that day! Inseparable.

A content-heavy one from a couple of recent outings.

From a recent outing for my 1x daily exercise (with the dogs) as per the guidelines here in the UK. It's tremendously sad to see litter (including fishing line, weight and hook) on the beach, but even worse when a dogfish washes up with what appears to be a green plastic tube poking out of it's mouth.

It seems a bit early to have the algae bloom moving in already.

This is the Bouddi Coastal Walk in the Bouddi National Park on the Central Coast. It must have been very, very hot the day this was created in order to make these rocks into a flowing molten mess.
I hope that I didn't post too many images. I had so many to choose from. Would you like to see more?

Thanks, Dave.

Oh yes, you are correct about that second shot. I had not noticed that.
