I think I have never used my M40mm pancake for SIC, it's actually been neglected in favor of the 40mm LTD and the always at hand 40mm XS. Manual lenses make me slow down and compose the shot.

Welp. I'll see if I can keep it up for another month. HD DA15.

Sorry for being late on this. I'm in, but I'm still trying to decide which lens to use. The candidates are:

- A basically brand new Montgomery Ward 28mm/f2.8, M42 mount. (I got it from an estate sale liquidator a few months back, in the original box.)
- A Pentax-M 80-200 f/4.5 zoom.
- The 03 Fish-Eye for the Pentax Q.

I'll decide later today, after I do some shooting over the lunch hour.

Aaand....it's the Pentax-M 80-200 for March. I'll do the fisheye for April. The Montgomery Ward lens looks very usable, but it will have to wait until later in the year. I've promised myself that I'll pull the Helios out as soon as spring is really here, and that will likely be May.

Not sure which lens I'll be using but I'll decide that today. I am hoping to do both this and the daily so I won't feel stuck on posting for only one lens. This all depends on work, which will make it a long month with several deadlines before vacation on the 30th (if touring with about 30 of my wife's students, former students, and some of the parents can be called vacation). I do want to be ready for the trip and need to work on being ready at any moment for the candid or scenic shots as there is no stopping when trying to shepherd a group.

I'll probably go with the Sigma 10-20 on the K-3 ii for the SIC. And probably use a couple of different lenses on the K-50 for people and street shots.

Jumping back in with the FA20-35, which I got a long while ago, in anticipation of the Glorious Pentax Digital FF. Now that I have FF'ed with the K-1, it's time to wring out this lens for an upcoming project. So far, it seems to be living up to its billing, but now is the time to put me to the test of using it for the images for which it was designed.

If only I could make it WR or AW, that would be ideal. Oh, and throw in a fast, non-screw-drive. OK, let's just continue with the complete D FA* package. Too much to ask for?

Actually, I think that it will perform quite well. And all that added stuff would add considerably to its wonderful feather-weight heft. So I'll just work with it as is. Hope I don't wear it out.

I've already blown day1. My lens is at a studio nearby with my back body and I forgot to grab it! Tomorrow is another day.

I'm in with the 03. I just haven't caught up, processing wise yet. Sisterpup is giving me a run for my money atm. But rest assured I'm playing along. Here's hoping I'll get a breather soon to process and post up the backlog
