Anyway, the most exciting part of the kit is my new K-1. ^_^
Congrats!

I own the M42 Takumar 17mm and the Rokinon 8mm, one is obviously fishier than the other on the K-5, but I'm torn between the two.

I finally got around the joining. Thanks to Pepperberry for helping me out. Just have to pick a lens. I do have my 10-17 which I always say I should use more. That is the only fisheye I have.

Use whatever you like. Fisheye is just an optional thing some are doing.

I know, the 10-17 can be a lot of fun though. Plus the 10-17 was my first DA lens.

I'm going to join in this month too. It's been a while! I couldn't decide what lens to use, but I may as well hop on the fish eye band wagon. I'll be shooting with a Sigma 15mm fisheye

That is a fantastic lens, I'd buy one if I had the spare $$$. I've rented it and absolutely love it.

I'm in with the 06 lens and Q-s1.

Am looking forward to a closer view point (bwye bwye fisheye 03!!), auto focus (does happy dance), and sharper images.

Actually, this is the last of my Q lenses. After this, it's going to be manual focus for the rest of the year. Not 100% sure how I feel about that..

Will try and post more regularly, but again, no guarantees. Will see how we go.

I'm in as well. Sounds like a fishy april, so I may go in with my 10-17. I was originally planning on the 77 with the K-1, since it hasn't gotten much use yet. Still a few days to decide.....

First off congrats to Sara on your new K1 and job upgrade! Great news.

Haven't Singled since January and didn't have intentions for April coming in, but glad I checked the thread because a fisheye party is going on! I'm in with DA10-17.

fisheye party!!!

Hello everyone! I know it has been an awful long time since I tried doing a Single in Challenge, but I was thinking of giving April a go. My plan was to use my Q and the only Q lens that I have at the moment the 02 (major Q lba is trying to get a foot hold so it may get a few friends if I cave in). However since this looks like April is FE month, I do have the DA10-17mm FE and I could use it with my K-3. Decisions, Decisions. So sometime tomorrow I will make up my mind and surprise you with either my FE on my K-3 or my O2 on my Q. See you on Saturday!
Stevi

I too have a copy of that lens on the way! Apparently it won't arrive in time to start April -- still, I'm itching for some quality time with the Q7, probably using the 02 zoom since almost all I've shot on it so far is the 01.

Joining the fun again. Nothing fishy this month. Going to try the Meyer Optik Lydith 30/3.5 wide open on the Q7. Not that 3.5 is very wide.

Well folks, I'm going to sit April out. With the eye problem I mentioned in March's thread, it's getting harder to see much less take a photo. So, until I get that fixed, I'm out of SIC.
