Thematic Bad Weather Makes Good Pictures

Great shots. T-storm season is coming, I hope to make it to the Chesapeake Bay soon to catch a good storm, preferably from a distance

Driving home from Indianapolis last night. Had to pull off the highway to scrape the headlights and windshield wipers.
There was about an inch of ice and snow built up on the front of the car (everyone's cars). I kept wondering why I couldn't see very well...

Last week I shot some photos of a local uphill/downhill fun ski race that encourages costumes. There was a bit of a squall at the at start! (x-posted to the 18-135 thread).
It was blowing and snowing so hard I had to clear accumulating snow from the viewfinder a few times that would just pack right in there. All the gear seemed to survive ok.

This shot was hand held from the front porch.
