I love storms, so today when some moved in, I grabbed the blue K-30 and an A 50mm f2 and took some shots.

Now that IS what I am talking about, great series of shots! The downside is when the lens gets covered in precip, it's about that time I remember to extend the hood

Not sure if it's a good picture, but it's certainly bad weather. The camera and lens spent the entire walk slung over my shoulder, so no protection from the elements.

Taken some time ago for a Single In Challenge.

just remembered a couple more - you can't see the rain in these - though I did get soaked - but you can see the effect of the wind, whipping up the spring tide... I wasn't using a WR lens at the time (on the K10D), either - no ill results, though

Sudden downpour this afternoon, with sunshine made a faint rainbow in the hill behind the house. I had the K135 on the K-5, but ran out in it for a picture anyway.
