Suppose fog counts as bad weather, though personally I love the stuff.

I love foggy days as well, especially in a forest.

NO idea what camera was used but this shot will terrify anyone who has ever been to St. John's, Newfoundland. My daughter noticed it on the Twitplace. I have NEVER seen or heard of a time when it was suicidal to enter St. John's harbor. But the recent gigantic winter hurricane-ish-like storm with winds up to 170kph raised some rather incredible seas. As an amateur sailor I certainly find this pic-even with its technical flaws--to be absolutely personally terrifying.

For reference, the old barracks at the top of the hill to the left is at about 100m above sea level.

Some bad weather in the Netherlands. Whether this weather is as bad as the one in the post before is questionable.
It was pouring rain (thank Pentax for weather sealing) and a good amount of wind. The waves almost overpower the tree.

Well the tree was more like a bush. Under two meters high. But nevertheless i would not go out in a sailingboat in this weather on this water.

Is windy considered bad weather?
Definitely, great execution of a creative idea.

Thursday afternoon threw us a thunderstorm of note... 50mm in half an hour! I snapped a few hurried photos on my way home form work with my K-x, that's always in the van. This is the straight, unedited image. It really was that dark!

We had some big winds on the mountain the other day. It was clear and sunny but the leeward side of the mountain was getting hammered with drifting snow.
