Mine was, I believe the other 500mm was as well.

The month has started but I haven't started with it yet..

I have considered my 35/2 Auto Weiton, 135/2.8 Super Varexon, or 135/4.5 Tamron Twin Tele, but I'm not sure if 135mm would be too close to the ~120 I had last month.

And I'm about to consider more..
Cosinon 50/1.8, Jupier 9, Industar 50-2?
Or if I can fix the infinity focus on my Orestegor 300/4 I could use that, or maybe I should learn how to go wide and use my Flektogon 20/4..

Weather looks to be pretty bad for at least another week..

With Sandy's encouragement I have decided to go with one of my new Q lenses and I'll use the 06 lens on my Q for the month. It will be a refresher on using my Q as I haven't been using it since I bough the K-3 ages ago. I will miss days as I start teaching a on how to cope with fibromyalgia and it will make my days much longer than they already are. It is only for a few days in the month, but because of the state of my health if I overdo things I frequently pay for it in a really big way.

After a month of fisheye, using a 50mm is a whole new game. This SMC-A f1.7 has some good glass, I think I'm going to enjoy this month a lot.

I flaked out for most of April. I apologize for not commenting on some of the great shots I glanced at during April. After a couple thousand pictures in Equador and the Galapagos, I ran out of steam, to say nothing of time following vacation and two trips to see kids/grandkids took two of the weekends. Life is a bit quieter now. So, I am back in for May. Not sure on my lens, perhaps the Pentax-A 50 1.4 or perhaps a more structured approach to the D-FA 28-105, which I have had on my camera all month. A few hours left to make the final decision. I'd better get some shots with all of the candidates quickly for a little insurance.

I barely got my feet wet in April, but the DA10-17 is fine, fun lens. It is rarely left out of my bag whether I'm carrying a crop or FF body.

Negatives - mahoosive purple fringing, and my copy has a super-sloppy focussing ring and rattle which could wake the dead. And that's after I had it serviced for the focussing ring jamming completely.

If the roadmapped FF fisheye zoom materialises in my lifetime, and it proves to be any good, this old girl will have to go.

And the KP? Everything works, and it's nicely compact, but it hasn't spoken to my soul yet. Perhaps we need more time....

No problem. Having literally just finished a month with it myself, I felt it my duty to warn you.
Warning appreciated, Thanks

Got a photo of the lens I'm shooting with this month. There is almost no information about these (Kaligar 135mm f3.5) on the internet, I'm happy to be creating a little bit of content about them.

Me too, too sick to get out of bed. I did get back on the wagon today and posted a shot for the day.

I missed the first two days of May but managed a shot in today. Stopped by the dam after dinner from some icecream. I will try to keep up in May. My lens ended up being the DA*55 1.4. I was going to send this lens back due to focusing issues but waited too long so now it is mine. When it locks focus it is definitely sharp, even at f1.4.

Just picked up a chinon 50/1.7 with camera body for 15 bucks at an op shop. The reviews for the lens look good and at that price i couldn't leave it there... *helpless shrug*

*puts it with all my other 50mm glass in cupboard*

A few of us are shooting 50mm this month, not too late to join in. IT's interesting that I'm paying much more attention to composition and framing at this focal length that I do with a wide angle lens. Since it is manual focus, the need to be slower also helps. It is nice to zone focus above f5.6 for quick shots.

Sandy I would be interested to read your impressions of it, as i have been eyeing as a companion for the K-1, what with the additional focus points over my K-S2 and the added control dial, as it may make a good match to go with the 150-450. How does it compare image quality wise to your K-S1?
