More swamp wallabies raiding the bird feeder.

This big guy we call Swish, because he flicks his tail aggressively if you look at him. K-3 + DFA 100.

Mum with a joey. K-S2 + DFA 100. (The bin lid she is standing on is a cover for the feeder.)

Two youngsters, on different days, about a month apart. K-3 + DFA 100.

A Bison and a Beaver

The bison is from our post eclipse Yellowstone trip last year. My bucket list officially includes doing a serious photographic vacation at Yellowstone.

The shy beaver is from the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary last year. I would really like to catch him in a more extroverted mood.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

We saw this guy munching on a flower in our house. He was definitely chowing down as he moved around on it.

Nice shot and a clever twist on the thread theme. :-)

I didn't know the OP was including birds in this thread, heck I got more of those than I have of squirrels that excluded from here. I even have a few like the one above, in flight no less. LOL Oh and babies of those above too with mommies around them.

Case in point:

The babies and mommies are archived, I'll have to find them. And I have white ones I took in Minnesota I took with film.

I put up the caterpillar because it is all fur at that stage.

Birds with just some fur around the neck are a little iffier.

Baby birds that are all fur are definitely okay though.

Well, the second shot has fur round the head, the first one might not count. I can remove it. And see if I can find the babies.

And I haven't seen any caterpillars here in years since my helpful nephew started spraying the yard with weed/feed.

No need to remove it.

Just everything has a place and this is the place for Non-Squirrel Furry Animals.

Well, technically, birds have feathers, not fur. It might look like fur, but if you get close enough, to them, you can see it's feathers.
