Wow, I'm jealous. I've spent a lot of time in the backcountry but never seen one. Even higher on my list would be a Fisher but at my age I'm not optimistic of checking either off my bucket list.

My contribution isn't nearly as exciting but they are furry and aren't squirrels...

Shot just ourside of Rocky Mountain National park. we were tracking this young bull moose for an hour till finally found this female (who was not interested).

Echidnas are too spiky to be cuddly, and don't mess around with a big adult male Grey Kangaroo - they can gut you with a kick! Great photos!

Is it just grey squirrels that are excluded from the thread or are Arctic ground squirrels out too?
