Thanks again to Arizona Dave for nominating me for this round. This week it's going to be retro equipment week, with an almost 50 year-old lens and a 10 megapixel CCD sensor. Yikes!
This was shot with the Super Takumar 20mm/4.5 on the GX-10 badged version of the K10D, which is a combination that I still use regularly and still love. It was one of those dark and gloomy Dartmoor days, but then just as I walked past Feather Tor there was a break in the clouds and this heavily pregnant white pony was lit by a burst of intense sunlight. I just had time to set Sunny 16 and shoot one frame before the moment was gone forever, and the resulting raw file has been my own personal post processing challenge ever since. White Dartmoor pony hair is the most reflective substance in the universe.
I'll let the challenge run for a week and then close it on Tuesday 16th May. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Have fun!
