Hi all, I'm afraid I'm falling behind in comments. I've been in Sydney since Tuesday evening and won't be leaving until tomorrow afternoon (Friday) so my apologies, but it will be the weekend before I will have caught up.

This past weekend allowed me to use multiple lenses, so I'l be filling in the past few days shortly.

Well, this is kinda interesting.

I mislabeled one of my Vivitar 50mm lens shots yesterday for a couple of hours - thought it was "ditchweed" (i.e., marijuana), but it was actually wild parsnip. It now has more than 100 views, despite not being posted anywhere but flickr. Apparently people search for "marijuana" on flickr, or something?

If I'd known that's all I have to do to get views, I'd have done it sooner.

The way I heard it told, those weeds are what's left of the pre-WWII hemp industry.

Anyone else having trouble with Flickr right now: latest posts appearing/disappearing from photostream; albums and groups not being listed; on & off links from PF? Stuff I posted up to yesterday seems fine, but today's three pix are misbehaving all over the shop.

Life is finally beginning to become manageable again. We've been shorthanded at work and I've been pretty much swamped, but we got a new staff member hired and he starts Monday. Sorry for being absent more than present during June - that should change pretty soon.
