As the dry season builds and forage gets rarer the local brumbies come in to town to try and find feed from lawns and verges - or head to the council dump for a forage in the food waste:

More wild horses. We don't have to go far to get a mustang fix. The buildings in the upper right is the city of Reno.

Was sorting out some old images and thought I'd toss this one up here. One of my very first images with my new (old) K200D in 2016.

Some polo-crosse action, just cropped out a bystander on the edge, no other PP.

And this, right here, is why we tell visitors not to feed the ponies. Morons have obviously been feeding this one from their cars, making it associate humans with food and ruining its natural instincts. When I got back to my car this afternoon this pony was eating what looked like bits of cake that some brainless idiot had scattered on the gravel, and as you'd expect it was quite aggressive in trying to demand some food off me as well (no chance of that happening).

Sorry about the rant, but it makes me so angry that stupid, thoughtless people do this to poor innocent animals.

Working Horses. These may be the most pampered horses anywhere. It was pretty interesting watching them get ready for a parade, how much time and grooming goes into getting each horse ready.

Great photos
