Wow! There are some absolutely spectacular photos up here so far!
My humble offerings were taken from the parking lot of a Wal-Mart in Salem, Oregon. I had my K50, Promaster 70-300 zoom, and an ancient 2X TC. Solar filter was the Mylar universal style from B&H (I also got some to put on our good Bushnell binocs, which was a great viewing tool!). Shooting with 2s shutter delay I managed to get pretty good results. During totality, I used my K100D and our old SMC 80-200 zoom. Managed a few keepers with it. Crystal clear skies, cheering crowds, apocalyptic traffic jams heading back towards Pugetropolis! My album with all shots is at
