use the USB cable provided by Pentax to connect camera to computer....
Unfortunately that drains the battery if you have many photos to upload. I keep a few cards in my backpack and at least one in my pocket. Though I guess most women don't wear Levi's.

it does - and I keep chargers/batteries next to the computer, so if I need to swap, it's there..... and no missing cards...

I don't.. I have my charger in the living room, and you don't want to know how little I use it!

After leaving the house without my memory card a couple of times, I wrote a little script that mounts a card on the computer, copies the day's picture files into a new folder, then immediately unmounts the card so it can be put back in the camera and I won't forget later. I haven't made that particular mistake since. :-)

I'm a "leave the card slot door open" man myself. My grape stem shot got explored this morning. Fitting, since that it was last shot before my AF 540FGZii flash blew on me. I could say it went out in a blaze of glory.. (sorry).

I have a shot for yesterday too. just no time to process, but hopefully will do it tonight.

Oh damnit..
I keep thinking it's on saturdays, not on the 21st.. Saturday would have been nice too as I'd even be dressed well for a wedding.

I hope to get the theme pic, just not sure where or how.

Don't most of you carry your camera in a bag once you leave the house? Pop a few spare SD cards in there. There are also little SD card holders that one can attach to the strap.

That's kinda spooky -- my AF360FGZii's last shot before biting the dust was the zebra mask scene that got explored back in May. Must be some kind of curse. (Fortunately it got repaired under warranty.)

I was feeling pretty pooped and low energy at the tail end of this crazy workweek, but the reminder that it was selfie day got me amped up again. Get ready for my face!

Since I always forget to come to this thread when I post late at night, I rarely see the themes before I take my shot. I guess I could actually set a reminder but that would be too logical. So now it is late and I don't have a shot so we'll see what I come up with.

My Daily and Single In shots from Monday were both Explored. They were the first I have had explored. I'd never really looked closely at the instructions until recently. I had been uploading most of my photos at the max resolution required here, 1024px on the long edge, and not the 1600px required . Not that it would have made a whole lot of difference, but ...
