It was fun to see the selfies. I try to do mine as a late entry on Saturday as I had originally thought. I have actually been thinking about it since beginning of the challenge as I haven't yet figured out how to do it properly with my long manual supertele lens and it's 4m minimum focus distance. I wouldn't want to shoot mirror with camera in front of my face.

embrace the challenge (and use a remote, or the 12 second timer. I wish I could find the even more creative shot another SIC'er did with his 500mm mirror lens, but here's my attempt.

Challenge accepted

Decided not to wait till tomorrow as it's supposed to be sunny and today is a rainy day. Have to say that it was not easy to get it together. Took the longest corridor in the house and luckily there is door behind, so don't need to curse a dirty window. Well, to be honest, it's still not perfect, but after about 30 try I think I have one acceptable.

Since I always forget to come to this thread when I post late at night, I rarely see the themes before I take my shot. I guess I could actually set a reminder but that would be too logical. So now it is late and I don't have a shot so we'll see what I come up with.

My Daily and Single In shots from Monday were both Explored. They were the first I have had explored. I'd never really looked closely at the instructions until recently. I had been uploading most of my photos at the max resolution required here, 1024px on the long edge, and not the 1600px required . Not that it would have made a whole lot of difference, but ...
Congrats on the explore. I've missed the last few selfie days. It's all I can do on a week day to get a shot in.

Dug out of the archives. Guess I've been doing silly selfies for a while. This was 5 years ago - I was on PF, but not very active and hadn't run across the SIC tradition. Also, had more pepper in the beard, which is now dominated by salt.

Ain't no shame in my belfie game.

EDIT: I sold that chair at our garage sale early this summer. I wonder if I should have set out a little framed picture of this belfie so people would know what they were getting into...
