Hi folks!

I just received an F 135 f/2.8 this very morning. This probably calls for a month-long test run. ;-)

Well, it will be a late start, but I purchased Sara's Theta, so that will be a new entry for me. Until t receive it, I'll be using my takumar 17mm Fisheye, a lens I never tire of using, especially in the autumn where it's built in Orange filter makes the foliage pop!

I've landed on the Mamiya/Sekor 55mm f/1.4 (m42 mount). It will be the first M42 lens shot on the K-3 since I got it about six weeks ago, and it's supposed to be an excellent vintage prime. I've done very little shooting with it, so I'm looking forward to it.

I'm in.

Or at least I will try to be in.

Diving in at the deep end after a fair absence. Weapon of choice is the Lomography Daguerrotype 64mm f/2.9

I cannot guarante quality subjects every day, but I shall at least give this brass and glass beauty a run, something I have failed hideously to do up to this point.

Quote from the wife, "can't you take pictures of the baby instead of that abstract cr&p!?" I explained that they would have to shown publicly.. "do some abstract baby pictures then, hands, eyes, etc" seems I'm under orders for the month.

Ha, happy wife, happy life as I was warned by my father in law but the little scamp came home with hand, foot and mouth from crèche last week. No portraits for a while methinks but never say never. She does have an amazing hue to her eyes (probably only her daddy thinks that ) that I've been trying to capture so...

I recall capturing those very eyes in July last year. Captivating. Will only share with your permission

Just joined the group and will be doing my first "Single in...". Hope I can keep up. Just took delivery on a Macro-Takumar Preset 50mm f4, so I guess this will be a good way to get familiar with it.
