I've enjoyed the fish and chips in Whitby UK but I don't think the sea freezes over there very often. So yes, Whitby Ontario, a few weeks ago.

Something a bit more tropical, or sub-tropical at least: a couple of fishing piers on Pine Island in Florida.

The pier which dated back to the 1880's was demolished about six years ago and replaced with a new pier.

I took this image about two months after moving to Brisbane from Adelaide, it was captured at sunrise on Oz day with a K7.
