Great series of images Tas. All beautifully composed, great colours - even some DA Ltd signature starbursts!

On a trip up to Woody Point I found the sky was all overcast so decided to pull out the Hoya NDX400 9 stop filter.

Private jetties at Sullivan bay, Sorrento Vic.
The beach is public, but to walk on the beach one has to duck under the private jetties which run all the way to the property boundaries!

Ok, so maybe this photo wasn’t so much about the pier!

A popular spot for early morning fishing can be found on a small waterway called Cabbage Tree Creek. It is located on the southern side of the Shornecliffe where the pier is located. I like to return here from time to time when the tide and or moon/sun movement will provide something to capture. In this case it was a sunrise.

Ta mate, and too true as there's always a queue on a weekend at the fish and chip shop. Half of which are seagulls.

Two young lovers taking a sunset walk at Wellington Point

This is another one of the images that I had printed and mounted on a Lumitile. It's from a few years ago and shot at a bayside suburb south of Brisbane called Wellington Point. It's a good venue to capture with the moon as the moonrise will align with the length of the pier a couple of times a year. A full moon and people at the end of the pier is an oft captured scene with this jetty. Or, maybe the back of a photographers head because he got too wrapped up in the moment and stood in front of some others.

Was trying to capture the lightning with this 30sec shot but the colours turned out lovely. I think this a little pier in Chelsea. (Melbourne)
